Assembly District 14 – Robyn Vining

Who I am

Robyn was elected to the Wisconsin State Assembly (District 14) in 2018 and is running for re-election in 2020. In the State Legislature, Rep. Vining serves on the Task Force on Adoption, and the Assembly Committees on Health, Children & Families, Small Business Development, and Financial Institutions. In Madison, she works on legislation to improve the lives and livelihoods of her constituents, support small businesses, and promote good government. In addition to serving in state government, Robyn is a highly successful entrepreneur and small business owner who owns the most in-demand photography business in Milwaukee. She launched Folio MKE, a collaborative workspace/community centered on supporting young female entrepreneurs in her community. She is a founding board member of Exploit No More, which works to end child sex trafficking, and was awarded the United Way’s Philanthropic 5 award in 2013 and named American Mother’s Wisconsin Mother of the Year in 2017 in recognition of her commitment to her community. Robyn moved to the 14th district a decade ago. She fell quickly in love with the people of this great state, and has been committed to Wisconsin ever since. She lives in Wauwatosa with her husband (a professor) and their two children (who are awesome). The Vining home is warmed and guarded by their rescue Boxer.

Why I am Running

In 2018, I decided to run for office because I wanted to represent the voice of the people. Special interests had begun to take over our state and were standing in the way of change needed to improve life for Wisconsinites. I am running for re-election so I can continue representing the voice of the people.
