Why I am Running

I am running because I have always been passionate about wanting to help and serve people. I am running because last year at the age of 41, I almost dies from a staph infection in my lungs. I was in the hospital for a week that saved my life. When I got out of the hospital, my bill would have been $80,000 if I did not have insurance. No one should ever have to worry about filing for bankruptcy or going into debt because of medical bills that saved their life. Finally I am running because the current republican leadership in Madison does not represent truly what the people want. We need to bring representation back to the people where it belongs which is the roots of our Democracy.
