From making our school buildings accessible for people with disabilities, to bringing sewer service to our neighborhoods, to organizing a fundraising team to raise money to build a Fisher House at the Milwaukee VA for veterans, LuAnn Bird has a proven record of bringing people together to solve tough problems.

LuAnn lives in Hales Corners where she is a caregiver for her husband. Their daughter Elizabeth and her husband Adam are educators and their son Tom is a financial analyst. They also provide childcare for their three grandsons ages 12, 9 and 7.

Now, she’s running to be the next representative of the 61st Assembly District.
